Based on the current information available, we confirm that the CT Meeting is going ahead as planned.
In parallel we are evaluating options for a full or a partial virtual meeting.
We are closely monitoring any updates on risk assessment, travel advice, and
recommendations for precautions by the World Health Organization (WHO)
concerning the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Since the
situation is rapidly evolving, we are evaluating options to protect the health
of each participant and we increase our effort to make the CT Meeting available
to every CT-enthusiastic scientist.
Due to the fact that other major conferences in the field of medical imaging
have only been postponed to July or August, we expect that the meeting can be held as planned.
In case a participant is not allowed to travel to Germany in August due to the coronavirus,
we offer the possibility to give her/his contribution by a video or ppt recording.
This recording must be provided at least one week before the conference.
We also require proof that the trip is not possible for the participant due to the coronavirus.
Once received we will refund the variable cost component of your conference fee.
Fixed costs (room rental, equipment rental, …) can unfortunately not be reimbursed.
Submit your request via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those registered participants who cannot attend we are planning to provide a live stream of the meeting.
Once we have worked out the details we will post them at our website.
Instructions and tips for PowerPoint recording is available at:
