With your registration application for the 8th International Conference on Image Formation in X-Ray Computed Tomography, you provide us with personal data (PD) in the registration form, which we collect and process in the context of our conference. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) stipulates that we must inform you about the nature and scope of the processing and your rights at the time the data is collected. We provide you with this information below in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 GDPR. You can also access this information at any time on our website www.ct-meeting.org.

Legal basis and purpose of collection and processing: We collect and process your personal data for a specific purpose in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR because this is necessary for the organization and implementation of the conference. The purpose is everything that is necessary for the fulfillment of the conference and the associated tasks. This includes in particular: storing the data in the list of members, processing to send information and offers, to collect registration fees. In addition, we collect and process PD because we have a legitimate interest in doing so as the conference management (Art. 6 para. 1 (e) GDPR). Such a legitimate interest exists, for example, in informing the public by reporting on the activities of the conference. In this context, personal data, including images of participants, are published, for example in the context of reporting on events, unless this conflicts with the overriding interests of the data subjects. In addition, we only process personal data for the purposes mentioned under 2. if you have given your consent.
Personal data (PD): We collect and process the following PD, which you have provided to us in the registration form, for the necessary purposes listed under 2: Surname, first name, address, e-mail, telephone number, institution, pictures of events.
Internal recipients of the PD: During processing, the data is passed on to the members of the SHPCI association entrusted within the SHPCI, insofar as this is necessary to fulfil the purpose.
External recipients of the PD: Depending on the requirements, the data will also be passed on to third parties for processing there, e.g. to cloud services for storing our files or the payment service provider.
Duration of storage / deletion: The PD will be stored for the duration of the conference and thereafter for a further 4 years. They will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of processing, unless statutory retention periods stipulate otherwise. In the period between the end of the conference and the deletion, we restrict the processing of your PD, e.g. by restricting access authorizations.
Your rights under the GDPR: You have the following rights: the right of access (Article 15), the right to rectification (Article 16), the right to erasure (Article 17), the right to restriction of processing (Article 18), the right to notification - notification obligation in connection with rectification or erasure PD or restriction of processing (Article 19), the right to data portability (Article 20), the right to object (Article 21), the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling (Article 22), the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77), the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
